Project Foster Care is a movement of foster care warriors committed to finding families for all the foster children freed for adoption, securing mental health services for people suffering the effects of a shattered system, and educating the American public about the state of foster care in the United States, provoking nationwide advocacy.

To apply for an open position on the Project Foster Care (PFC) Board of Directors, review the online application, information, and bylaws. Follow the directions provided on the form and submit your completed application form to the PFC Election Committee by 5 p.m. Central Time on September 20, 2019, to be considered by the PFC Election Committee for an open position. The PFC Election Committee will review and evaluate all applications for completeness. The knowledge, experience, skills, and abilities demonstrated by each individual, relative to the following established core competencies and leadership expectations, will be evaluated:
- Leadership qualities and experience
- Commitment to the PFC
- Organizational awareness
- Experience as a foster care or adoption resource parent or professional
Candidates will be notified of the outcome of the election results prior to any public statement is made.
